Lead at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ is Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ's in-house leadership development program. The program offers a blend of self-paced and live learning experiences to help leaders develop practical skills, explore topics relevant to managing and supporting employees, and build connections with fellow supervisors across campus. Lead at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ is designed to help leaders grow in their roles and contribute to a thriving college community.
Please note: Some programming is reserved for those whose role includes formal supervision of one or more Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ employees. If a program is reserved for supervisors, it will be noted in the program description.
Asynchronous Training
Performance Conversations
Review best practices for Performance Conversations in . This self-paced eLearning journey reviews performance ratings, the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ performance cycle, giving feedback, developing performance goals, and reflecting on your own work.
Leadership Foundations
This covers core supervisory skills. In addition to courses about Performance Conversations, it also includes best practices for coaching employees, team building, and change management.
The Supervisor Experience
This year, we are launching The Supervisor Experience, an in-person development program reserved for Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ employees with formal supervisory responsibilities. Across four in-person sessions, participants will explore: Supervisor responsibilities and expectations; building employee engagement and trust; coaching and feedback techniques; decision-making and change management; and conflict resolution and psychological safety.
Participants must meet eligibility criteria (below) and must be able to attend all four in-person sessions.

In-person session schedule:
- Session 1: Monday, Sept. 14, 1:30-4:30 p.m.
- Session 2: Wednesday, Sept. 23, 1:30-4:30 p.m.
- Session 3: Wednesday, Sept. 30, 1:30-4:30 p.m.
- Session 4: Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1:30-4:30 p.m.
The Supervisor Experience: Eligibility
Role
To be eligible, participants must have formal supervisory responsibility for at least one Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ employee.
Pre-Requisite Training
To be eligible, participants must complete the eLearning journey by Aug. 31.
Application
To be eligible, participants must complete the by Aug. 31.
Performance
To be eligible, participants cannot be on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
