Excel at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ is Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ's in-house professional development program. Workshops are designed for staff and faculty learning and are primarily facilitated by our in-house talent of higher education professionals. Participants who attend Excel at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ sessions can look forward to the opportunity to learn and grow their skills, as well as the chance to engage with other members of the campus community. In 90-minutes, learn to use the principles of graphic design and to better define your target audience to create more effective flyers. We’ll practice by running through exercises in Adobe Express. Bring a laptop for hands-on work throughout the session.
Excel at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ: Rethinking Allyship: Intent, Impact, and Accountability

This workshop examines how individuals and organizations can unintentionally reproduce harm even when they are committed to inclusion and support. Participants will examine how allyship, institutional practices, and community norms can unintentionally contribute to trans exclusion and will reflect on how to move beyond good intentions towards meaningful accountability and solidarity.
