The Writing Program at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ
Believing that students write more forcefully about subjects that interest them, the faculty has decided against requiring a conventional composition course. Instead, Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ offers a multilevel program designed to help students improve their writing.
Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ wants its graduates to be able to write clear and cogent analytical prose. We encourage Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ undergraduates to view writing as a means to develop understanding across the liberal arts curriculum. Faculty members from many fields offer Writing Intensive and Writing in the Discipline courses, grounding writing instruction in disciplinary practices.
