Access for Visitors
Visiting Tutt Library
- Please note that our hours may seem irregular due to the nature of our academic calendar and the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Block Plan. Visitors must leave the building by 6:00 PM.
- Visitors to Tutt Library must enter through the library's main north and south entrances, which have ramps for accessibility.
- To ensure the security of library patrons, at certain times we ask visitors to show ID and sign in.
- Research librarians are happy to help library visitors, though our first priority is the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ community.
- The public is welcome to use all collections, including Government Documents and Special Collections. You may wish to call or email those departments in advance to expedite your research. Research librarians can help patrons locate materials; research librarians and circulation staff will also retrieve items when necessary.
- Public visitors can access while at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Libraries by connecting to the Guest-Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ wireless network.

Borrowing Books
We offer limited borrowing privileges for Community Borrowers. If you have never borrowed from Tutt Library you must register at the circulation desk.
Computer Use Policy
At this time, public patrons/visitors are unable to access library computers. They are welcome to utilize personal devices and the Guest-Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ wireless network.
Access for Alumni
The Colorado College Libraries offer access for alumni to the following library services and collections.
Visiting Tutt Library
- Please check our hours to see when the library is open. Alumni and other visitors must leave the building after 6 p.m.
- Research help is available for alumni, though our first priority is the current Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ community.
- Alumni are welcome to use all of the library's physical collections, including Government Documents and Special Collections. You may wish to call or email those departments in advance to expedite your research.
Borrowing Books
The library offers limited borrowing amd interlibrary loan privileges to the greater Colorado Springs alumni residents.

Remote Database Access
While licensing terms for most databases stipulate that remote (off-campus) access is restricted to current students, faculty, and staff, there are some . Access to RefWorks
RefWorks accounts created while an active Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ student will remain active as long as the library continues its subscription. Alumni cannot create new RefWorks accounts.
While Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ is a private institution and our primary mission is to serve the educational needs of our students, we do make our collections open to the public as much as possible.
