Field Trips
Faculty are able to offer students truly extraordinary learning experiences due to Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ's location, resources and unique Block Plan calendar. Many of the department's courses incorporate experiential learning opportunities, including guest lecturers, executives-in-residence, and field trips.
Field Trips
Field trips range from one-day visits to Denver to visit with the executives of high-tech telecommunications firms and the front offices of professional sports franchises to extensive one- to two-week field trips throughout the Southwest to study environmental economics issues. Some courses are able to take place entirely in a different country!
Want to know if you can gain credit for AP/IB and/or external to Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ?
Academic Faculty Advisors in the Econ. & Bus. Dept. will want to see/approve any syllabus for which a student would like credit. To gain credit for faculty-approved courses, students must order official transcripts to be sent directly to the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Registrar's Office from the requested school, to be kept in respective student files.
