As Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ’s Web Content Manager, Amber focuses on optimizing the college’s web presence and supporting the many voices that contribute to our website. With a background rooted in teaching and professional development, she is passionate about empowering the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ web author community. She enjoys collaborating with campus partners to ensure their digital content is accessible, engaging, and effectively tells the story of their department or office.
Amber joined Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ in February 2026 after spending 15 years at Rice University in Houston. Prior to her career in higher education, she served as a high school chemistry teacher. She holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Louisiana State University and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University.
Outside of the office, Amber is an outdoor enthusiast who loves hiking and long-distance backpacking. Her most notable adventure was trekking 1,350 miles along the Pacific Crest Trail. When she isn't on the trails, she enjoys experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
